California State Science Fair

Placer County STEM Expo has been selected as the Placer County Affiliate for the California State Science Fair!

The California State Science Fair is the final science fair of the academic year for students throughout the State of California in grades 6 - 12, serving California's future scientists since 1952. It is hosted by the California Science Center (formerly, the California Museum of Science and Industry).

The 61st annual California State Science Fair was held in the California Science Center on April 30 - May 1, 2012. This year there were 993 participants from 421 schools throughout the State who met in competition for awards totaling $50,000.

STEM Expo has the responsibility for selecting the Placer County student representatives to compete at this event.
